Holly brings a solo fundraiser perspective, moving teams with limited fundraising exposure from the point of embarrassment, discomfort and suspicion to small ‘eureka’ moments of colleagues excitedly saying ‘I’m going to get the best stories I can from the field for you!’ or ‘I’ve just had a legacy conversation!’ Slow starts and plenty of getting it wrong (rising to quips about preying on the vulnerable or trying to ‘out-profession’), turning points came when job titles are stripped away and you connect with colleagues around supporting a beneficiary’s  relationship with your organisation – and the central role fundraising can play in that.
