Julia Garden

Community Fundraising Officer at Young Minds

I have worked for YoungMinds since 2015, starting out as a volunteer on the helpline. I currently support schools and universities who are fundraising for us as well as people who are fundraising in memory of someone. My experience is in relationship building – having managed a team of volunteers at hospital trusts as well as organisations such as Royal London Society for Blind Children and Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. My work experience has been gained mainly with vulnerable people and I have recently qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist specialising in Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy, an empowering approach that builds resilience.
