Kerrina Thorogood

Head of Partnerships at WWF

Kerrina has 15 years’ experience of securing and stewarding award winning strategic partnerships in the charity sector. Joining WWF in 2008, she leads an ambitious team delivering huge successes for the private sector and the planet. Partnerships she has been responsible for securing have included John West, Coca-Cola, Sky and most recently Tesco, which will see the retailer working with WWF to halve the impact of the average shopping basket to deliver sustainable, affordable, healthy food. As a creative and strategic thinker, she challenges businesses and WWF to think about where they are uniquely placed to have an impact through partnership. Previously Kerrina worked at Breakthrough Breast Cancer securing partnerships with adidas, Aviva and The FA. Her work in the charity sector was preceded by a career working for the Japan Ministry of Trade, Economy and Industry (METI) promoting Japan to British multinationals as a market for foreign investment. Kerrina speaks Japanese, and in her ‘spare time’ looks after two children, two dogs and seven chickens.
