LIVE PARTNER WORKSHOP: Supporting the sector to tackle the climate emergency
Wednesday 08/07 | 13:00 - 14:00 | Online
Charity and community organisations have an important role to play in tackling the climate emergency and The National Lottery Community Fund is working to support them. Last year we launched a £100m fund to enable people and communities to take the lead in tackling the climate crisis we all face and to support organisations to be more sustainable.
We will be speaking about our Climate Action Fund and how we are working with community groups to manage their environmental impact. You will be able to hear more about the support we can offer you, including funding, advice and guidance, as well as our wider environmental strategy to help tackle the climate emergency.
As part of the session, we will be hosting a panel of groups we have funded to discuss how charities and community organisations can help tackle the climate emergency. You will be able to put your questions to our panel and get advice on the environmental challenges your organisation is facing.
