Amy Sweeting

Head of Fundraising at Missing People

I am constantly impressed by how open we are as a sector to sharing our successes and our challenges to help other fundraisers. As someone that loves learning, I am delighted to sit on the Convention Board and bring together knowledge, experience and skills from across the charity world to help others.

Amy fell in love with fundraising when she took part in a charity rally to Mongolia back in 2010. Since then, she has worked for a number of causes and is currently the Head of Fundraising at Missing People. She was previously Head of High Value Relationships at IWM, managing unrestricted and capital high value giving and Fundraising Development Manager at Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, where she solely managed a large fundraising campaign to build a new hospice. She volunteers for a few organisations, is a Trustee for the charity Glad’s House, is Vice Chair of the IoF Major Donor SIG Committee and sits on the IoF Corporate SIG Committee and the IoF Convention Board. Amy is passionate about the future of philanthropy, specifically the next generation of givers.
